- Basic Drone Operations- Online/OnsiteThis course has been meticulously crafted to provide you with all the necessary knowledge to successfully pass the Transport Canada Basic Operations exam. This achievement will grant you the ability to operate your drone in a safe and lawful manner. You will learn the basics of theory of flight, mission planning, meteorology, human factors, drone hardware and of course, RPAS rules and regulations. This certification permits individuals to operate drones within the weight range of 250g to 25KG in airspace that is not under control, and even beyond a distance of 30 meters.11
